The past week we have unfortunately not been able to film as we have been revising and not been able to make contact with Ahmed and Alan. But we are filming the rest of the scenes tomorrow lunch and after school i will then be editing them after school as well.
The characters
Bella:
I was chosen to be Bella as I have similar hair and I have read the Twilight Saga the most. To me Twilight is a very inspiring book by the choices of grammar and punctuation Stephenie Meyer uses in her books.
Stephenie Meyer generally decides to focus on the genres of love and action as in a recent survey it has shown women are better at writing romantic novels than men as we have a more visual side of things. Stephenie Meyer uses the loose sentence technique in her writing giving her a more unique style of writing to other authors. Also Stephenie tends to use age appropriate language in her novels for example if she was writing for a toddler she would use language like 'the cuddly, fluffy blue cat' but as her stories are aimed at young adults she uses better vocabulary but as she knows teenagers read her books she did not use a single word of bad language. This really inspired my in my own pieces of writing as I like to write little novels in my spare time as it feels like it is taking my emotions out of me like a flowing river.
Edward:
Ahmed was chosen to be Edward due to his acting skills we knew he has a lot of potential as an actor and that he would be able to pull off such a large character. Ahmed is very imaginative which is really helpful in Twilight as we are trying our best to refer it to the movie 'Vampire's Suck', his imagintivity ranges from small things like props in the background to funny lines included in the movie.
Jacob:
Alan was chosen to be Jacob as he is the Clown of the group and not afraid to make a fool of himself on camera like the rest of us. Alan also has many other roles like Charlie, Bella's father, The car driver, which nearly crashes into Bella, and Carlisle, Edward's father but he may not be included in the movie.
Alice:
Seetara was chosen to be Alice as Seetara is the 'Wise' person of the group as Alice can see the future we needed somebody that is crazy and a secret genius and we knew seetara had this in her.
Rosalie:
Faiza was chosen tom be Rosalie as Rosalie has a fairly large part in the film as she has a sad story behind her pretty face and the story was what made her a vampire, Rosalie wishes she wasn't a vampire as they are not allowed to have children and everybody around her dies whilst she stays young and sweet.
Jessica:
Ashleen was chosen to be Jessica and Esme as they are both quite and simple characters and as Ashleen is fairly quite we thought these characters would be perfect for her. Jessica and Bella near the beginning of the movie become very close as Bella has just moved from Phoenix, Arizona.
We hope that the characters we have chosen are perfect for each other if not we may need to do some last minute changes to the casting of Twilight.
